By decree of HIRH, His Grace The Duke of Qatana as the Grand Chancellor and Marshal of Orders and Honors for the Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan, has re-instituted under the Chancellery the Royal House's Court of Chivalry (Mahkamat Muru'at al-Ghasaan).

HIRH through the Court of Chivalry has jurisdiction over matters of heraldry and chivalric conduct of members as all aspire to uphold the muru’ah or chivalric code of Equestrians and Hospitalers, as well as those noble and religious confraternities of which HIRH is the royal patron.
